Top 6 Logo Design Trends for 2018
We are almost all caught up on some of the major design trends in design! Today we are going to take a look at logo trends. Logos is something that I work a lot with and making sure I am up to date is crucial to my business. So far these are the major trends that I see happening around.
LETTER STACKING
Letter stacking: this trend is about the stacking of the words or letters to create a visual interest. Letter stacking strategically places letters above, below and side by side of each other in order to create a unique layout. The condensed format is ideal for companies that have longer names creating a trendy and modern look.
LETTERING
Lettering: a very popular trend, this ties back to the typography trends. A hand written approach gives it a personal touch.
MINIMAL
Minimal: also another trend that ties back to the packaging trends and the overall “less is more” movement in the design that has been happening for the past few years. Sometimes keeping things simpler and minimal is more effective then trying to make something busy and complex.
NEGATIVE SPACE
Negative Space: Fun and playful, this trends plays with the negative space and making a creative use of the space available.
OVERLAPPING
Overlapping: as the name suggests here transparent typography or graphic elements overlap each other creating a visual interest.
VINTAGE
Vintage: Another a popular trend tying back to packaging and typography trends. It is a nostalgic and classy way to handle a logo.
